Beauty and Body Image: A workshop for girls!
What would it feel like to appreciate the body that you have? What does it mean to be beautiful? What is beauty? What beliefs do you hold about being beautiful? Not being beautiful? And much, much more. This day long workshop will explore these questions and many others using art, writing, movement, and music. At the end of the day, it is our deepest wish that each participant leave with a healthier and happier relationship with their body and their sense of beauty.

Altered Text: Using art to transform and process your life!
Come explore this powerful tool in a daylong workshop at Expressive H'arts Studios. During this day you will learn techniques for creating altered text and for using it as a tool for processing your life. You will live with a tool kit for continuing this work at home.

Entering the Dream: A day of Sand Trays and Reflection
Join us for a mini retreat exploring the world of Sand Trays. In this 5 hour experience, you will work with all the gifts of entering the dream through sand tray play! We will explore questions that you have, wishes you are holding and much more. You will learn how to use dialogue as a tool for processing your day and how to interpret symbolic language.

Creative Expression Camp: Raising Your Voice
Join teachers Ellen Berg and Caralyn Henry for this intensive experiential camp designed for adolescent girls to explore their voices and create authentic expression of their discoveries. We will use all forms of the expressive arts during this 2 week adventure including, but not limited to: writing, storytelling, poetry, sand tray, clay explorations, painting, music, dramatization, chalks and pastels, movement and more!
Week 1: The wisdom of wondering...

Expressive Arts Group 2010
Join me for an exciting exploration of life! Using writing, the arts, music, movement, storytelling and more... we will give expression to our lives. This is NOT an art class...it is a class for anyone interested in connecting with self, others and life. You can look forward to work with clay, altered text, collage, sculpture, journals, sand tray creation, meditation, conversation, laughter and any other thing that may arise in the moment. We learn from each other through creating together and sharing together.
We meet for 6 sessions broken down into 2 cycles. There is a small break between Cycle 1 and 2 (I'll be in Guatemala!!!)
Cycle 1: Wonder...exploring my questions, my wonderings
week 1: connecting with self: storytelling, journal work and clay sculpture
week 2: my wonderings...journal work, entering the dream (sand tray and dream work)

Creative Expression DAYTIMERS!
This is a special group that has just formed. It meets once a month for four hours in an intensive creative expression art workshop. There is a need for a group that meets during the day and this is it! We will use music, movement, storytelling, painting, sculpting, writing, sand tray creation and so much more to explore our lives, connect with each other and have fun!
